The Northern Ireland Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders (NIACRO) are an extremely important element of civil operation in Northern Ireland. Their work encompasses liaising with government think-tanks and policy-makers on the one-hand, and dealing with offenders, ex-offenders and their families on the other. There is an extraordinary amount of bureaucracy underlying this two-way relationship, and NIACRO required the use of video material to help condense and simplify their communications towards those who call on their services.
Affixxius produced a series of videos that sought to meet these requirements. Many of the videos comprised of interview material with the many different people with whom NIACRO comes into contact (offenders, prison managers, and members of parliament) and, as such, used a human and real-life thread to convey the required messages in each video. Animation and graphics work was also used to deliver a degree of aesthetic quality to the work and help make the videos stand out as more than corporate communication videos.
I found Affixxius to be professional, enthusiastic and a creative company to work with. We were happy with the level of expertise shown and the product they achieved for us. We would recommend them to other organisations.
