The borough of Barking and Dagenham offer young residents unique apprenticeship opportunities within the healthcare sector. Serving as a means to boost youth employment through offering lines of work that may not otherwise be considered by young people, the council required coverage of this initiative and for it to be showcased at a major industry event.
Affixxius were commissioned by the council to produce a 15-minute documentary piece that followed the lives of those who took part in the scheme. Using a human, 'real-life' narrative, the video allowed the audience to connect with the subjects. This was achieved by interviewing subjects 'on the go' during their working day, such as even during their time spent with patients, and allowed for a moving and thought-provoking documentary piece to be produced.
Affixxius were an absolute pleasure to work with and helped us every step of the way to produce a superb video. We would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.
