>> NOW HIRING - Producer / Camera Operator

Award-winning Leicestershire-based Video Production company Affixxius Productions is looking for a Producer/Camera Operator to join our rapidly expanding team.  The individual appointed will form a key part of our Production Team, and be involved in location and studio shooting throughout the UK and Europe.

It is vital that the appointed individual has an excellent 'Front of House' manner and is confident and polite when dealing with customers.  This mannerism should go hand-in-hand with a firm grasp of logistical organisation, with a key element of the position being the organisation and preparation of shoots for a huge range of customers.  This can potentially involve the sourcing and booking of talent, locations, crew accommodation and all other required logistics.  A keen sense of organisation is vital, as is a full UK Driving License.

As communication will be a key element of the position, good literacy skills will be required alongside good people skills.  In addition, the appointed individual will be need to conduct interviews on shoot, and should be either experienced in this or be confident and willing to learn the skills from other senior members of our team.

Alongside the 'Producer's' role within our Production Team (working alongside our Head of Production), the appointed Individual will act as a Cameraman on shoot and some camera operation experience is essentially.  Ideally, but not necessarily, the candidate will have experience or knowledge of the Panasonic AF-101 camera system, which acts as our front-line operation camera.

The candidate should be aware that this position does involve travel throughout the UK and Europe and will also involve time away and occasional weekend work.  Anyone who is not in a position to spend time away on shoot at any time will not be suitable for the role.  Starting salary for the position will be £16,000 p/a with a probation period of 6 months, after which the salary will be reviewed with the Partners of the firm.  When away on company business, accommodation, sustenance and travel will be paid for by the company.
