I figured days in the office at the moment are proving to be a bit of a luxury. After the chaos of the shooting schedule in June, I’m hurriedly trying to catch up on all the mountains of paperwork and marketing activity that I didn’t do last month. One of the projects that I have talked about a lot in my blogs is Aiglon College. We have now officially finished their filming and moving into the post-production realm of the project, which is Dave’s department….thank god. As a little taster, we have a sneak preview of what’s to come uploaded to the Aiglon website. If you go over to www.aiglon.ch and watch the video on the homepage, you will see some of the shots we have taken, with a nice corporate message all rolled into a nice web banner, and thats just the beginning.

As I write this blog, we are currently balancing 12 projects all at various stages, with probably more to appear before the end of the month. Things in the corporate video world are going great guns at this end, and we’re trying to keep this momentum through till the end of the year. Holidays and time off have been thrown out the window and its work work work….well for most of us! The two new school promotional videos have appeared on the education site now, so please do pop over to their and have a look (the link is in my previous blog). 

With it being a Friday afternoon and my brain still trying to get use to being up early for my networking commitments with BNI I’m going to sign off and wish everybody a great weekend.

Corporate Video Has Changed- www.affixxius.com- The home of video production!

Hello all, just a quick note from the ‘S&M’ desk here at the hub of video production in the Midlands! Its almost the last day of a very busy week (as usual) and I offer my ‘week in the life of a Sales and Marketing Manager’ blog.

With the sad demise of one of the biggest media companies in the Midlands- THA Group- last Friday, and the relationships we had within, the weekend started less than perfectly! After a quick- coffee and pastries based- creative innovation team meeting on Sunday morning the week started better!

Monday morning saw the final touches being added to a major tender for the DCSF, and a great meeting with our super-car client Zytek in the afternoon, amongst many other new developments. Tuesday and Wednesday were both spent talking to new clients about extensive projects helping them to shout about themselves without spending a fortune (see www.affixxius.com/propoint) which went very well indeed.

Today, we plan the biggest mailshot of all time! there is so much we need to so many people- about thirty thousand people in fact! Tomorrow- who knows!  All in, video production is alive and well in Leicester, and indeed in the UK, and Switzerland and luxembourg and Mauritius and Ghana and………
