Corporate Video Has Changed
No one was more shocked than I was to find out that someone else finally wrote a blog. I appreciate Harry stepping in to my shoes and keeping our avid readers in the loop in my absence. Admitedly, it was partly about me, so you didn’t get away from me that easily, but oh well!
With what we call ‘Affixximus’ (or Christmas to you normal people out there) creeping up on us like a freight train we are still fairly busy with a number of projects still on going. As a side point to keep you all in the loop, this year for Affixximus , we are going go karting followed by lazer quest followed by a nice meal out, so we all look forward to that. We all work so hard creating videos all year round that this one day a year we like to let our hair down and go out and have some fun!
Anyway, our lovely friends over at Saint-Gobain in Luxembourg have uploaded their videos to youtube for all to see. www.youtube.com/NortonClipperEurope . Please pop over there and have a look as they did take us about 6 months to complete, due to their complexity and heavy graphical nature, but their very happy with the results and so are we. The plan next week is to try and get one of the other guys to write a blog so there is some variety on here, but we shall see.

Corporate Video Has Changed
As Tim soaks up the sun on an exotic beach, drinking smooth blends of non alcoholic fruit juice- the rest of us have been screaming around like mad people, shooting a piece for Leicester City Council. We’re handling a large video element of their new ‘One Leicester’ campaign, the banners for which adorn almost every lamppost in the city.
Its wonderfully busy here at the ranch, particularly for us in Sales and Marketing as we continue to grow the several dedicated arms of the business. Corporate video, it seems, has never been so widely flexible! We’re all really looking forward to “affixximus” but I know secretly we will all still be creeping into the office over the holidays to write a bit of music, or touch up and edit…

Corporate Video Has Changed
Before I go on holiday for a week I figured I should write a short little blog about our day at the Independent Schools Council Marketing Conference. We have been working in the maintained schools sector for some time now and we decided to launch our range of video products to the independent sector at the conference. If you go to www.affixxius.com/education you can see a selection of the videos we have on show, housed very nicely in our new media microsite infrastructure, that is also, one of our products!
I’ve gotta say, we all really enjoyed the event and thought it was run to perfection. All three of us that attended the conference actually went to independent school, so it was interesting meeting people from various different colleges that no doubt thrashed us at Rugby (but not Hockey and Cricket, might I add).
