Take a look at our studio from when we filmed Samit Patel smashing paint filled ‘cricket balls’ as part of the advertising for twenty20 at Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.  Not only did the walls get covered, so did half the crew, a few sandwiches and a sticky bun.  It was such good fun.

Corporate Video has Changed.

Today we filmed Samit Patel smashing paint filled ‘cricket balls’ with a high speed camera. This is all part of the concept we’ve put together called ‘Put Some Colour in your Cricket’ to do with advertising twenty20 at Nottinghamshire Count Cricket Club. The shots we gathered today are part of a bigger video that will sell some of the extras available at Trent Bridge and also highlight some things about the team. Although the footage is still very raw, it looks incredible and can’t wait to get it up online.

Due to the fact this was a very unique shoot for everybody involved, it did attract the attention of quite a few people, such as Sky Sports News, East Midlands Today, The Independent and our very own Leicester Mercury. I have recorded all the news reports that were leaked throughout the day and I shall upload them up on here very soon. So check back in a bit for those.

Corporate Video Has Changed

To be honest with you the title of the blog somewhat underplays how full steam ahead we actually are. We are producing videos currently for The Mark Group, Leicestershire Fire & Rescue, Downe House (in association with Marketing for Education), RADAR and ACIS to name but a very small few.

I should mention that the intros and outros we created for the Leicester Tigers are now in full time use on LTTV, so if you want pop over there and have a look just click here: http://www.leicestertigers.com/tv/index.php . On the back end of the success of this project we have successfully won the contract to produce all the media content for the Nottinghamshire Outlaws upcoming 20:20 season and I can assure you of this, that video intro will be like nothing you’ve ever seen. We’re all very excited about commencing this project and can’t wait to see it on the big screen in front of a capacity crowd down at Trent Bridge.

As mentioned by Harry in the last blog, we have a new Graphic Designer who goes by the name of Garry Toomer who replaces Jonny Stillwell who is moving onto pastures new and we wish him the very best of luck. There is however, one other new addition to Affixxius Productions who is called Rory O’Sullivan. Rory is our new production specialist and will be on pretty much every shoot to help out and coordinate many of the jobs we have going on. We welcome him to the team and look forward to what he can add to the video making process.

Theres loads and loads of things I could write about in here to report about Affixxius Productions and our various video making antics, however, there just isnt enough time in the day. I’m sure I’ll blog again soon and tell you more of what’s new.

Corporate Video Has Changed!

Hello all!

New Years greetings from the Sales and Marketing desk (soon to be ‘office’) here at Affixxius Productions, the home of corporate video in the UK. Typically things are full speed ahead here as our loyal customers need new and improved promotion and marketing into 2010!

We have a new face with us! Garry will be heading the design side of things here at the studio and will be a terrific asset to the company as our design services continue to grow!

Hello all, things are typically crazy busy here at the leading corporate video production specialists!

Here is a slice of what we have been up to- Filming the Tigers vs Saints rugby game last Saturday, Independent School Council Marketing 2009 Conference on Wednesday, Miles’ Birthday, translating a video into 11 different languages for a client, planning the RADAR People of the Year award ceremony shoots, working breakfast networking and BNI networking! Mix all this in with a full post production board and what you get is this week! Carnage indeed.

But more importantly to these is a new member of the Affixxius team! Rory O’Sullivan joins us as a hybrid production assistant, and is certainly making a difference already! Welcome on board Rory.

Corporate video production is alive and well it seems.

CORPORATE VIDEO HAS CHANGED

Hello all, just a quick note from the Sales and Marketing desk here at the leading corporate video production specialists. Last week was generally manic with filming four days out of the five and sponsoring an event for the PPA in London.  The world of corporate video production is indeed keeping the team very busy this month, as we are producing training videos, product videos and promotional videos for clients all over Europe at the moment!
